Existence in Spots
‘Existence in Spots’ is a body of work based upon the Anthropocene epoch. My main enquiry was Boardmasters festival in Cornwall. Abandoned tents, empty beer cans and general waste left upon the floor, out of consciousness. We are living through an era which is built upon mass consumerism, once items are no longer of use to us, we disregard them, without a second thought as to where they go or how they affect the environment. The way we churn through items, is also the way we treat the environment.
