Livvy Dawson is a creative photographer and educator based in Berkshire, originally from Bournemouth, whose practice is rooted in a deep passion for nature and sustainability. Her personal work explores the relationship between humans and the natural world, reflecting on the growing divide and the impermanence it creates. Through a blend of digital photography and camera-less techniques, Livvy creates abstract compositions that emphasise physicality and materiality. Her process is driven by experimentation and exploration, often visiting natural spaces that have been reclaimed or altered by human intervention. Her images undergo transformation, reminding us that the world is not always as it seems, and that much lies beyond immediate perception.
Collaborating with clients, Livvy brings creativity into her image-making, fulfilling briefs of commerical imagery.
Working in the Education sector, Livvy brings photographic techniques into her teaching, with the desire to start conversations, build community, and raise awareness around environmental issues, within the curriculum and beyond the classroom. Livvy’s work is both visual and conceptual—encouraging reflection, connection, and a deeper understanding of the ever-evolving world around us, collaborating with like-minded artists and curators.
